Maltiverse Now Supports IPv6
We are pleased to announce that Maltiverse now fully supports IPv6 addresses. As more devices adopt IPv6, this update ensures that your threat intelligence also covers the new version of the standard. Maybe this is the year of the IPv6 takeover! 😀

- New Field –
ip_version: Indicators can now specify a numeric field (4or6) to clearly distinguish IPv4 vs. IPv6. - Seamless Integration: Existing IPv4-focused queries and workflows remain unaffected. IPv6 data simply enriches the intelligence you already rely on.
- Unified Threat Detection: IPv6 indicators receive the same classification, tags, and enrichment processes as IPv4, ensuring consistency across the entire platform.

IPv4 addresses are nearing exhaustion, and attackers have already shifted to IPv6 to circumvent detection. By covering both address spaces, Maltiverse ensures you stay ahead of emerging threats and maintain visibility across the modern internet landscape.
